In the early days at Graphics Unlimited artwork was created by cut & paste methods, bromides were heavily used and film was hand developed in a darkroom. Film processors and typesetters dramatically changed the way things were done, but within a few short years computers and DTP (desktop publishing) again changed our industry.
Today we have CTP (computer to plate) and DI (digital imaging) direct to press. Printing too has changed dramatically with faster speeds and higher quality printing being achieved with presses that require less and less human intervention.
Digital Photography, email and the Internet have had significant impact on the world, not just our industry. It seems the only constant for the future is change and we embrace it because each new innovation brings new challenges and opportunities.
20 years ago it was impossible to even contemplate many of the things we now take for granted and maybe could not live without!
Throughout its short history, Graphics Unlimited has continuously kept pace with equipment, marketing techniques and design styles. Our Graphic Designers understand the key elements of good design, the rules of typography and colour management, and are skilled at operating high end design software, creating fantastic designs and ensuring their faithful reproduction.
More than 90% of all operations are completed in-house; from Concept to Design, Pre-Press to Print and finally Storage and/or Distribution.
Finding creative solutions, producing innovative and effective designs and high-quality print, together with exceptional customer service are the key ingredients to success for the team at Graphics Unlimited. And as a result of our commitment to infrastructure, technology and a dedication to meeting customers' needs, client retention is extremely high.
